Executive Housekeeper Required (Potomac, Maryland)

Overview

A private couple in Potomac, Maryland seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to support with the maintenance of their private formal estate. The Executive Housekeeper will report to the family office as well as work directly with the principals and their team of 1-3 other housekeepers. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning of residence working alongside other household staff
• Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments, travel packing/unpacking
• Hand-on care of expensive art and antiques
• Maintaining household inventory organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
• Hands-on care for furniture; polishing fine surfaces, silver care & maintenance
• Assist with flower arrangements
• Receiving packages and maintaining a delivery log
• Answering the house phone and taking messages for the principals
• Providing excellent service to principals and guest

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Salary: $85,000 – $95,000, DOE

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years related work experience in a private residence
