Assistant Property Manager Required (Potomac, Maryland) 

Overview

A private family seeks an experienced professional property maintenance assistant to support the estate and property manager with the overall functions for maintaining the interior and exterior of a 13 acre estate, 25,000+ sq ft home (including pool house and gate house). The ideal candidates will be highly hands-on with experience managing and overseeing multiple projects (interior and exterior). Must be self-motivated, self-driven, no job is too big or too small, and willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

• Support the House and Property Manager and assists on all maintenance, landscape, vendors, projects and construction on site.
• Working knowledge of facilities systems and equipment
• Supervision of third-party maintenance technicians and vendors
• Participation in coordinating projects (renovations, special event set up, etc)
• General care, car washing and maintenance of vehicles
• Exterior and interior paint checked for flaking – touch-up as needed
• Cleaning, maintenance, set up of outdoor furniture, terraces, pool, tennis court, windows, doors. Maintain sport court and sports equipment
• Maintain a clean exterior of the property/landscaping by blowing/pressure cleaning the patios, raking the gravel drive/parking area, ensuring walkways/entryways are clean, etc.

                                                                                                                                                                       

                                                                                                                                                                        This is a full-time position and employee is entitled to employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance and 401(k) with company match after 3 full months of employment.  Salary is commensurate with experience­.

Requirements:

• Career, experienced property management professional or professional within the construction industry with expertise in maintaining high-end estates to an impeccable quality standard
• Must be an exemplar professional, excellent communicator, very efficient / have great time management skills, great attention-to-detail, and be very organized
• Availability and connectivity to support family needs, including weekends, evenings, and holidays (if necessary)   
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a comprehensive background check
