Family Assistant Required ( Delray Beach, FL) 

A private family seeks to hire an Educated, Creative + Organized FT Family Assistant to assist with their 15 year old daughter. The ideal candidate is a great role model, experienced, tech savvy, kind, flexible, confident, emotionally intelligent and doesn’t require micromanaging – you should be someone who can see what needs to be done without being told, be highly engaging, possess excellent communication skills, and has a Background in Child Development/Psychology. 

Responsibilities:

• Always ensuring the safety of the teenager
• Report directly to the parents and the House Manager
• Exercise common sense and the ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
• Ability to discipline the child according to the parents’ preferred parenting style & be a role model.
• Providing support with research
• Administrative and any miscellaneous tasks
• Responsible for executing special requests, running errands, and related duties as needed
• Responsible for organizing and managing a calendar and working close with the family office and parents.

Please note: Family is only considering candidates who are currently LOCAL to Palm Beach, Fl.

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday. Off Sunday & Monday. Tues-Fri 1pm-8pm & Saturday 10am-8pm (occasional overtime might be required) guarantee of 40 hours per week. 

Requirements:

• Background in Child Development/Psychology highly preferred, but not required
• Strong Driving Record a MUST
• Excellent references are required from current and previous employers
• Dialectical behavior therapy experience knowledge or experience (DBT)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends
