Armed Chauffeur Required (New York, NY)

Overview

A private family office is seeking to hire an experienced, professional, and reliable armed executive chauffeur. This position is mainly based in Midtown, Manhattan. The hired individual must have experience and longevity working with private high-profile families. The job will require supporting two business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the principals
• Driving principals, family, and guests as needed. 
• Following all family protocols and safety procedures
• Maintain family vehicle
• Map out routes in advance
• Run errands, receive deliveries, handle service calls
• Drive family to and from summer home in the Hamptons, NY as needed.
• Must be local to the area or live within a commutable distance as take-home vehicle is not an option.
• Providing great hospitality service to all principals and guests

Schedule: 40 hours are guaranteed Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm (days and hours may change depending on partner’s location). Salary, DOE, The candidate hired will be eligible for benefits under the family office, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & AD&D insurance, Disability, Health Savings Account, Flexible Savings Account, Commuter benefit, 401K, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 -10  years relevant experience
• Longevity of a minimum 3- 5 years with one family
• Outstanding references from both current and previous employers
• A superb command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Excellent computer skills for emails and reports on vehicle
• Professional, polished, and poised at all times
• Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
• Must have valid US work authorization
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to submit through a detailed background check
