Overview
- Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning and organizing
- Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments
- Organizing closets and wardrobe management
- Travel packing/unpacking
- Household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
- Hands-on care for furniture; polishing fine surfaces, silver and fine china
- Care for Fine art
- Providing excellent service to principals and guests
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday. Hours: 8 am – 4 pm. Occasionally working longer days during peak season, flexibility is crucial for the family. Requested to rotate a few weeks in the Hamptons with the other two housekeepers. Otherwise, live-out. Benefits include a health insurance stipend, two weeks of vacation, sick days, and discretionary bonus.
- Minimum 3 years related work experience
- High-end Hotel or Private home experience is preferred
- Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent references from current and previous employers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
- Professional, polished, and poised at all times
- Hands-on with a good attitude, high energy, strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Valid United States work authorization
