Nanny Position with a Warm Family in Mt. Airy

A loving family in Mt. Airy is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny to care for their 8-month-old son in a full-time role. Join a collaborative and kind household to provide exceptional care for their child.

Responsibilities:

  • Bottle feeding and managing nap schedules

  • Engaging the baby in age-appropriate, educational, and enriching activities

  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the 8-month-old

  • Light meal preparation for the baby

  • Tidying up children’s areas and common spaces

  • Assisting with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and nap time

  • Supervising the child in the pool when needed

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is patient, proactive, and experienced with babies. They should be a team player who is flexible, reliable, and hands-on, with a warm and nurturing demeanor.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience caring for infants, with at least 3 years in a combined nanny/housekeeping role in a private home

  • High school degree

  • CPR training

  • Strong references from current and prior employers

  • Proficient English communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable swimming and supervising children in the pool

  • Valid driver’s license and confident driving ability

  • U.S. work authorization
