A discerning private couple seeks a skilled, health-focused Private Chef with a farm-to-table approach to prepare daily meals at their low-key family residence in the Hamptons for the remainder of the summer season. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of longevity in previous roles and expertise in crafting exquisite, seasonal, organic cuisines tailored to the family’s preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh, healthy, organic, and seasonal meals daily for lunch and dinner, accommodating 2 family members depending on the schedule and dinner parties booked.

  • Collaborate weekly with the family to plan menus, incorporating feedback to ensure satisfaction.

  • Plan and execute menus for various occasions, including religious gatherings, fundraisers, and family dinners.

  • Procure all kitchen supplies, including groceries, and maintain detailed inventory lists.

  • Maintain impeccable kitchen sanitation and organization, including refrigerator, pantries, and drawers, with thorough post-event cleanup.

  • Provide formal table setting and white-glove service as needed.

  • Work harmoniously with the household team, demonstrating a friendly and adaptable demeanor.

Thursday to Sunday: Lunch and dinner service in Bridgehampton, NY.
Location: Bridgehampton, NY
Dates: July 17, 2025 – September 15, 2025

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Private Chef.

  • Culinary degree from an accredited college or culinary institution.

  • Exceptional references from current and previous employers.

  • Energetic, creative, and versatile in culinary approach.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional.

  • Discreet and poised, with a strong sense of professionalism.

  • Flexible to work weekends as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization.
