Overview

Private Formal Residence seeks an experienced Temp Private Chef to prepare sophisticated daily meals for the couple and occasional guests. Seeking a Chef who is passionately committed to fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients from local farms and purveyors. The ideal candidate will exhibit an appreciation and aptitude for the farm-to-table ethos, using high quality and seasonal ingredients.

 

  • Creating fresh and seasonal meals including lunches, dinners, snacks, special events and large parties as needed
  • Managing the cleanliness and organization of the kitchens and refrigerator
  • Serving and cleaning up after meals
  • Responding to special requests, errands, and related duties as needed

This is a temp summer chef position. The typical work schedule will be from Thursday – Sunday – June 30th weekend through Labor Day weekend. Salary is generous but DOE.

 

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience working as Private Chef; Must have a minimum of 2 years working for the same high net-worth employer
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • A superb command of the English language, both written and oral
  • Must have experience cooking healthy
  • Must be meticulous, highly organized, a good record keeper, and have excellent managerial skills
  • Utmost discretion and confidentiality is necessary
