A private family based in Palm Harbor is seeking a talented and flexible Private Chef to provide part-time culinary support for their family of five. The chef will prepare healthy, family-friendly meals for both adults and children, with a focus on dinner service three nights per week, plus meal prep and fridge stocking. The ideal candidate is passionate about nutritious, balanced cooking, highly organized, and comfortable working in multiple kitchens. This hands-on role requires adaptability, excellent communication, and a polished, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals (primarily dinners) for the family, emphasizing fresh, healthy, kid-friendly options.
  • Accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions for adults and children.
  • Manage grocery shopping, inventory, and sourcing of high-quality, seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain spotless, organized, and efficient kitchen environments.
  • Coordinate weekly meal plans and menus with the principals to ensure variety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times.

Schedule: Part-time: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, with flexibility for occasional weekends as needed.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience cooking for children and adapting menus for various age groups.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record (required for travel between residences).
  • Professional, discreet, and polished demeanor.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience; private household or high-end restaurant background strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in healthy, family-style cuisine and balanced meal preparation.
