Overview

A warm, active first-time mother is seeking a dedicated and professional Full-Time Live-In Nanny to care for their newborn baby boy, expected in late September/early October. The position begins October 1, 2026. Seeking a candidate with a strong educational background who is early in their childcare career and eager to make a meaningful long-term commitment. This is an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a loving, international family while gaining exceptional hands-on experience in a supportive and well-structured household environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and French and fully comfortable with an international lifestyle. Time will be split between Tribeca, New York City and Europe (primarily Paris and Greece), with approximately 6 months in New York and 6 months in the EU each year.

Responsibilities

  • Support the baby’s daily routines, including morning care, nap schedules, bath time, and bedtime
  • Foster developmental, educational, and social growth through age-appropriate activities and interactions
  • Coordinate playdates, outings, and extracurricular activities as the child grows
  • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks
  • Maintain organization of the child’s bedroom, play areas, clothing, and belongings
  • Manage children’s laundry, wardrobe organization, and seasonal clothing rotations
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for frequent family travel
  • Communicate openly and regularly with parents about schedules, activities, and developmental milestones
  • Collaborate effectively with other household staff to ensure seamless daily operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred)
  • 2–5 years of professional childcare experience (private families, schools, camps, or childcare centers)
  • Recent college graduates with significant childcare experience are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Genuine passion for child development and early childhood education
  • Warm, energetic, and nurturing personality
  • Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable working in a fully staffed household environment
  • Flexibility with schedule, including occasional evenings or travel
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and highly detail-oriented
  • Valid U.S. work authorization
  • must love dogs! One small puppy.
