Overview

Lily Pond Services is a boutique domestic staffing firm that partners with private residences and family offices to place household and personal staff. We are hiring a reliable, creative, detail-oriented college student or recent graduate to manage our social media and handle light support work. This role is a good fit for someone who already has another part-time job, internship, or is starting out in PR, communications, marketing, or luxury lifestyle—and wants a focused add-on that builds a real portfolio.

The role

About 10 hours per week. Social media is the primary focus; the rest is light support.

Social media (primary)

  • Post job openings and lifestyle content on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Create, schedule, and maintain a consistent posting calendar
  • Design simple graphics in Canva and capture or edit light photos and short videos when needed
  • Reply to comments and messages in a professional, on-brand tone
  • Track basic performance metrics and share simple insights
  • Stay current on trends relevant to luxury staffing and lifestyle brands

Support work

  • Help with a monthly newsletter or blog
  • Draft straightforward emails when needed
  • Do basic research
  • Assist with light client or candidate outreach

Start ASAP or in September. Remote, with hybrid flexibility depending on location and needs.

Who you are

  • Current college student or recent graduate (Communications, Marketing, PR, Business, or related fields preferred, not required)
  • Already balancing another part-time commitment or beginning work in PR / this field
  • Strong writer with a good eye for visuals
  • Comfortable on Instagram and LinkedIn; Canva is a plus
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Professional and discreet—we work with private clients

Logistics

  • Hours: ~10 per week, some flexibility
  • Location: Remote / hybrid
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
