Overview

A private family is seeking an experienced, professional Domestic Couple or Domestic Team for their primary residence in Palm Beach, Florida. This is a long-term, year-round position for a discreet, loyal, and proactive duo who take genuine pride in maintaining an impeccable home. The couple/team will have full charge of the day-to-day running of the home, care of two small dogs, household vehicles, and driving. The rhythm of the job follows the family’s seasonal pattern: very busy and fully engaged during the winter/spring season in Palm Beach, and significantly quieter with generous time off during the summer months when the family is primarily at their secondary home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping & Home Care
  • Detailed daily and deep cleaning to five-star standards
  • Full laundry and ironing service (fine linens, couture, delicate fabrics)
  • Silver polishing, care of fine art, antiques, and high-end finishes
  • Indoor plant and fresh flower care
  • Kitchen and pantry management, grocery shopping, and stock rotation
  • Daily property walkthroughs to identify and report any maintenance needs
  • Logistics & Vendor Coordination
  • Liaise with the families personal assistant to Schedule and supervise vendors, contractors, and service appointments
  • Receive deliveries, manage mail and packages
  • Driving & Transportation
  • Safe, discreet chauffeuring of principals and occasional guests (airport transfers, social events, appointments)
  • Fleet management: keep vehicles spotless, fueled, and serviced
  • Daily care (feeding, walking, play, grooming, and medication if required) for two small, well-behaved dogs
  • Coordinate vet visits, groomers and oversee pet needs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working together as a Domestic Couple/Team in a formal, high-net-worth private home
  • Verifiable, excellent references from recent employers
  • Superior housekeeping, laundry, and organizational skills
  • Confident, defensive drivers with clean records
  • Genuine affection for dogs and experience with pet care
  • Professional appearance, absolute discretion, and a warm, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility and a true long-term commitment

Schedule: Live-in, 5–6 days per week (Thursday – Monday core schedule) When principals are in residence (approximately 6–7 months/year, primarily November–May): 6 days on, 1 day off (usually Tuesday or Wednesday) When principals are away (summer/off-season, approximately 5–6 months/year): weekends off most weekends with highly flexible, lighter schedule Must remain flexible for holidays and occasional overtime as needed.
