Domestic Couple Required (East Hampton, NY)

Overview

A private couple seeks an experienced Domestic Couple to provide overall support for their Private East Hampton Residence.  The right candidates will have experience managing the upkeep of private estates, and proving high-end service. Must be outgoing, self-motivated and hardworking. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Driving principals safely to and from NYC and locally. 
• Manage groundskeepers, vendors, and contractors
• Provide support in the interior or exterior maintenance as needed.
• Always maintaining home for guest readiness
• Handling special requests and related duties as needed
• Must be confident in the kitchen: providing light cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinners for the couple from time to time.
• Maintaining household inventories; supply procurement including grocery shopping
• Full housekeeping and upkeep of the residence.

Schedule: The typical schedule is working 5 days per week; weekends might be required for this position the 6 months a year the clients are in residence, May – October. 

Accommodations: East Hampton: Private guest house, separate from the main residence on the property including 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a  private kitchen. 

Salary & Benefits: DOE & benefits package is included (health Insurance, two weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days. 

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of related experience in private homes and yachts, preferably together
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in English required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience caring for fine art, antiques, silver, and brass
• Flexible schedule, available to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid US work authorization
