Overview

A private couple in Colorado Springs, CO is in search of a full-time personal assistant / dog nanny to provide care for two small dogs. The position entails a combination of personal assistant responsibilities and dog care. The ideal candidate must possess a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, a passion for dogs, and the capability to maintain the efficient operation of a high-end home environment.

  • Handle grocery shopping, supply tracking, and other household errands.
  • Providing pet sitting services filling in for the owner in his or her absence for the following tasks: Feeding and Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs and caring for them as they were their own. Couple travels 25-30 weeks a year and when they traveling living in with the dogs is required.
  • Acting as gatekeeper and liaison for the principal
  • Help with family travel plans, bookings, and basic household errands (e.g., FedEx, tailoring).
  •  Provide support with personal tasks, including running errands, coordinating personal appointments, and handling personal shopping needs. Ensure the principal’s personal affairs are organized and efficiently managed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing calendars and handling correspondence.

The work schedule extends from Monday to Friday with clients on-site. Operating hours are from 8 am to 4 pm. The perfect candidate must be capable of remote work when the client is present and willing to reside in their home caring for the dogs while the couple is away. The preferred start date is November 15, 2025. This position offers a competitive salary benefits including vacation time and sick leave.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Pet-friendly attitude and experience managing pet care.
  • Excellent references from previous employers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Team player, trustworthy, and professional
  • Willingness to live on the property and be available as needed.
