Overview

Lovely Couple seeks an experienced Caregiver to provide day-to-day assistance. The successful candidate will be patient, kind and energetic. Speaking and cooking Greek is a huge plus. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

•Assist with all personal care, administering medications and providing day to day care and assistance

•Prepare and serve meals adhering to dietary preferences and restrictions

•Provide a positive, safe and nurturing environment

•Liaise and communicate regularly with other family members; assist with outgoing / incoming correspondence

•All aspects of general housekeeping, and household organization\

• Putting The Mrs. on a daily routine of waking up, eating, showering, and dressing. She has no routine at the present time.

• Food shopping; loading and unloading groceries, putting groceries away and helping to decide what meals will be prepared for the day.

•Procuring supplies, including grocery shopping

•Running errands, managing special requests, answering calls, accepting packages, etc.

 

This is a full-time, live-out position. General Schedule is: 10am-6pm Monday – Friday. Salary is generous but DOE.

 

Requirements

•Excellent references required from current and previous employers

•Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

•Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in a private home as Caregiver

•Must be energetic, efficient, and hardworking

•Flexibility to work overtime as needed

•Strong command of the English language

•Excellent communication skills; verbal and non-verbal

•Good cooking skills, ability to prepare and serve meals

•Must be hands on with good attitude, high energy, and strong work ethic

•Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

•Greek speaking and cooking is a plus
