A private couple in Annandale, NJ is currently in search of a professional Full-Time Housekeeper to efficiently manage their two residences in NJ. The selected candidate will be required to work 3 days per week in Annandale, NJ and two days at their Kinnelon, NJ lakehouse. The couple is looking to initiate with a temporary position immediately for a duration of three months, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term full-time role if the ideal match is found.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform meticulous cleaning and organization of two homes, including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and kitchen spaces.
  • Handle delicate and fine furnishings, artwork, and surfaces with care.
  • Assist with laundry and wardrobe management, including ironing and steaming when needed.
  • Ensure the home is fully stocked with necessary supplies and notify the house manager when items need replenishing.
  • Provide hospitality and service during family gatherings or events, maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet the family’s preferences and ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Adhere to the family’s established protocols for household management and cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 years of experience working in a high-end, formal household.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and understanding of high-level service and hospitality.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from the house manager.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of proper care for luxury furnishings, linens, and wardrobe items.
  • A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required to work within a private family setting.
