Overview

A private couple in Palm Beach, FL seeks to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to clean and organize a residence filled with valuable antiques and art that require detail and specific care. The ideal candidate must have an eye for attention to detail and be willing to go above and beyond to care for the principal’s home.
Responsibilities
  • Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning and organizing
  • Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments
  • Organizing closets and wardrobe management
  • Travel packing/unpacking
  • Household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
  • Hands-on care for furniture; polishing fine surfaces, silver and fine china
  • Care for Fine art
  • Providing excellent service to principals and guests
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday. Hours: 8 am – 4 pm. Occasionally working longer days in season, flexibility is very important for the family. A few weeks in the Hamptons to rotate with the other two housekeepers are requested. Otherwise, live-out. Benefits: Full benefits package included (Health insurance stipend, two weeks’ vacation, sick days, discretionary bonuses).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience
  • High-end Hotel or Private home experience is preferred
  • Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent references from current and previous employers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
  • Professional, polished, and poised at all times
  • Hands-on with a good attitude, high energy, strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Valid United States work authorization
