Overview

A loving family of six is seeking to hire a caring and qualified nanny for their almost 3-month-old baby girl. They also have three other children aged 9, 11, and 14. Although there is already a long-term live-in nanny for the other children, working as a team is essential for longevity in this role and within the family. The chosen candidate should have great attention to detail and a loving personality to work with the children and help them achieve important milestones in their young lives. These parents are looking for a top-notch nanny who can grow with their family. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-7pm with the flexibility to live-in occasional nights and summers in Southampton, NY. Overnights: Must be able to work 1 or 2 nights per week. Benefits: Full health benefits package, PTO, overtime pay for 40+ weekly hours, paid holidays, sick days, and other perks available.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 – 5  years of related experience working for private families and young children
  • Excellent references are required from current and previous employers
  • Native Spanish Speaker
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid
  • Strong English & Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Polished, poised, and professional
  • Intelligent with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends
  • Always ensuring the safety of the baby at all times
  • Exercise common sense and the ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
  • Packing and unpacking children’s belongings as needed when traveling
  • Assisting with bath time/shower and bedtime
  • Assist with meals and snacks for the baby
  • Assist with kitchen tidy-up, cleaning area after snacks, and loading or unloading the dishwasher
  • Valid Passport (domestic & international travel)
