Overview

Private Family seeks an energetic, patient, engaging Nanny for their 2 ½ and four year old that enjoys teaching & nurturing young toddlers. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

•Assist parents in providing a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for children

•Initiate play and activities with child

•Taking child to and from school, parties, play dates, library visit and activities

•Oversee and organize books and play dates

•Help organize child’s schedule

•Responsible for keeping playroom and child’s bedrooms organized; organize and put away all toys at the end of day

•Assist in packing child for travel

•Must be able to travel with the family as needed

•Complete grocery shopping and assist with healthy meal preparation and cooking (cook for family 1 night per week)

•Food Preparation mostly for lunch and sweets; clean dishes after all meals; empty garbage; clean up kitchen

•Housekeeping duties such as: laundry, changing bed linens, organize child’s folded clothing, pack baby bag, etc.

•Assist with household administration as needed

•Special projects; putting together photos, shopping book, baby book, etc.

 

This is a full-time, live-out is preferred but able to travel to Palm Beach and South Hampton a few weeks a year and live-in. The schedule will be Monday – Friday Salary is DOE.

 

Requirements

 

•At least 2 years previous experience as a nanny; experience with toddlers a must

•Excellent references from previous and current employers

•Courteous, kind, and well mannered; must take direction well

•Polished and presentable

•Excellent communication skills; strong command of the English language

•Valid driver’s license; must be an experienced driver

•Must be able to commit to position for up to 2 years

•Must be able to swim

•Valid passport with ability to travel domestically and internationally

•Legally able to work in the US
