A discreet couple residing in Palm Beach, FL is in search of a refined, skilled, tech-savvy, and seasoned House Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the household and offer direct assistance to the principals and family office. This position entails active involvement, necessitating robust leadership skills, a history in formal service, GM expertise, and a proactive, caring attitude towards staff and household management. The perfect candidate boasts vast experience in assisting high-net-worth individuals and overseeing elegant private residences with accuracy and elegance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day household operations, ensuring a seamless and well-maintained home environment
  • Supervise, schedule, and manage household staff, fostering a respectful and team-oriented work culture
  • Collaborate closely with the Mrs. to manage projects, events, and daily household needs
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers; oversee property maintenance in tandem with the property manager
  • Maintain household inventories (including pantry items and wine cellar); shop for household supplies and specialty items
  • Provide wardrobe and closet management support; assist with packing/unpacking and seasonal closet organization
  • Support the family office with various administrative and operational tasks as needed
  • Ensure all household systems (smart home technology, HVAC, security, AV, etc.) are properly maintained and functioning
  • Maintain a strong presence in the home while demonstrating discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
  • Oversee all aspects of property maintenance and operations, ensuring the home runs efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all household-related matters, including staff, vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure daily household tasks are completed properly and assist with hands-on responsibilities when needed (e.g., cleaning, laundry, organizing, and general upkeep).
  • Manage household projects, renovations, and repairs, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and refine household processes and operational procedures, filling any gaps in efficiency.
  • Manage household staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and task delegation.
  • Supervise and support domestic staff, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and guidance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring the best service and value.
 The initial salary offer will be calculated according to your level of expertise and credentials. Salary Bracket: $120,000 – $170,000. There is a possibility of receiving a year-end bonus at the company’s discretion. The comprehensive benefits package comprises medical, dental, and vision insurance. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, with occasional weekends required.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role supporting a private household
  • Strong background in luxury service, hospitality, or estate management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English with outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Tech-savvy; experience with smart home systems and digital household management tools
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems with discretion and resourcefulness
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of emotional intelligence and confidentiality
  • US work authorization required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
