Overview

A private family of five in Palm Harbor, Florida, is seeking an experienced, discreet housekeeper to join their household team. Working closely with a full-time nanny, you will maintain a spotless and organized home, with a primary focus on laundry and deep cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a collaborative team spirit, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a kid-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface polishing, and bathroom/kitchen sanitizing
  • Manage full-cycle laundry: washing, drying, ironing, steaming, folding, and linen rotation
  • Maintain impeccable organization of closets, pantries, and common areas
  • Care for high-end furnishings, delicate fabrics, and specialty surfaces
  • Run local errands (dry-cleaning, grocery runs, light shopping)
  • Coordinate with parents and nanny to keep the home “family-ready” at all times

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional housekeeping experience in high-end private residences
  • Expert-level laundry skills, including fine garments, couture care, and stain treatment
  • Verifiable references from recent private-household employers
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Fluency in English; excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable and enthusiastic around children (three school-age kids in residence)
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and unflappable under pressure.
  • Complete discretion and respect for family privacy

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience), paid vacation, and major holidays.
