A private individual in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to help clean and organize their private residence. The ideal candidate is someone who has a “no job too big or too small mentality” and will roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The position will require performing a variety of household tasks to keep the home running smoothly for the principal. The candidate must be hard-working and passionate about providing excellent service and support to the principals and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-charge housekeeping responsibilities; museum-quality cleaning and organizing
  • Laundry and ironing of clothing and linens, caring for fine garments
  • Organizing closets and wardrobe management
  • Travel packing/unpacking
  • Household organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
  • Providing excellent service to principals and guests
  • Help manage household vendors and contractors
  • cooking and/or meal preparation a plus 
  • Attending to and ensuring vendors/contractors get their work done
  • Track and receive online shopping orders, manage returns
  • Running errands, grocery shopping, driving to appointments, or picking prescriptions, etc.

Schedule: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm. A guaranteed 40 hours of work each week. Live-in position in Palm Beach with private accommodations and in MA within the residence from June to September. Salary, DOE. Benefits: Benefits package included (Health insurance stipend, two weeks vacation, sick days, discretionary bonuses and other benefits available).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years related work experience
  • Private home experience preferred
  • Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent references from current and previous employers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English), proficient in Spanish a +
  • Professional, polished and poised at all times
  • Hands-on with good attitude, high energy, strong work ethic and an attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Flexibility in schedule with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Moderately tech savvy (calendar, email, bookings, grocery ordering)
  • Valid Driver’s License
