Overview

Formal Upper East Side Family seeks experienced live-in Nanny to assist with the care of their 2.5 year old daughter. There are two other children in the home but have a separate nanny. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Providing all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Taking child to and from appointments and activities
  • Ensuring the safety of the child at all times
  • Planning educational and recreational activities
  • Light cleaning, laundry, care, and maintenance of the residence
  • Traveling with family if requested
  • Running errands and procuring household supplies as needed; including grocery shopping

 

This is a full-time, live-in position. Monday – Friday, arriving Monday at 7am and leaving Friday at 7pm. Salary & Health insurance offered; package is generous but DOE. Successful candidate will have the potential to earn a discretionary annual bonus.

 

Requirements

 

  • Excellent references required from current and previous employers
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Polished, poised, and professional
  • Intelligent with strong problem solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Good swimming abilities
  • Valid passport a plus
  • Flexible to travel with principals as needed
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
