Overview

A private individual seeks to hire an experienced Full-time live-in private Chef to prepare daily lunch and dinner service. The position is primarily based in Palm Beach, FL but requires support in NY and Switzerland. 6 months in Palm Beach, 3 months in Switzerland and 3 months in NYC.apartment or studio at the disposal of this candidate. The ideal candidate will have excellent longevity in previous positions and be a seasoned chef. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • lunch and dinner (sometimes different meals at different times) presentation is important.
  • Shopping- including local stores, farm stands and organic market
  • Stocking and ordering of all pantry items
  • Proper planning and purchasing to be prepared for meals as well as avoid wastefulness.
  • Cleanliness of entire kitchen, pantry, refrigerators, etc.- daily, weekly and deep clean.
  • Familiar with proper ways to clean/sanitation and food storage.
  • Maintaining household inventory organization (closets, pantries, cabinets, etc.)
  • Setting table and serving

Schedule: Monday – Friday.  Must be flexible with schedule. Live-in with private accommodations in all locations. 

Compensation: Salary depends on experience Benefits: Benefits package available

Qualifications:

  • Must have longevity and experience in a comparable role-residence specific.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Low ego and be open to feedback and improvements overall.
  • Upbeat and transparent personality a must. Will interface directly with high profile guests.
  • Must love dogs (2 dogs in the home). 
  • Must hold the utmost discretion and confidentiality standards.
  • Flexible schedule a must, hours vary greatly
  • Must be a legal citizen with proof of citizenship
  • Non smoking due to allergies of owners
