Overview

A private family seeks to hire a part-time weekend Nanny to assist with the care of their 8 & 6 year old boy and girl. The chosen candidate should be organized, savvy, vibrant with a great personality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Always ensuring the safety of the children
  • Exercise common sense and the ability to take initiative to accomplish tasks and make decisions
  • Taking children to and from appointments and activities
  • Packing and unpacking children’s belongings as needed when traveling
  • Assist with laundry and light housekeeping of children’s rooms and play areas
  • Assist with meals, and snacks for the children
  • Running errands and procuring children’s supplies as needed

Schedule: Saturday 9am-7pm & Sunday 9am-2pm with flexibility to stay later in the spring and when needed. If more hours are wanted Friday 2-8pm 

Compensation: Hourly rate for this role depends on experience $30 + per hour

Requirements 

  • Excellent references are required from current and previous employers
  • Minimum a High School diploma or some college education
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience working for private families and young children
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Polished, poised, and professional
  • Intelligent with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends
  • US work authorization
