Rotational Nanny Required (Miami Shores, FL)

Overview

A private residence in Miami Beach, FL is seeking an experienced, energetic, and nurturing rotational Nanny who can set boundaries in a healthy way. The Nanny/Family Assistant will assist with looking after three children, including a 16-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy, and a 6-year-old boy. The ideal candidate must be available to work every other week, with 7 days on and 7 days off, and must also be able to travel when needed. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Daily childcare duties; monitoring the children, drop-off, and pick-up, arranging play dates and educational field trips
• Developing education activities for the children
• Following schedules developed by the parents: nap time, snacks, etc.
• Helping with homework, and school projects
• Coordinating the family travel schedules, family events, and travel itineraries
• Grocery shopping and other personal shopping
• Handling special requests, errands, and related duties as needed
• Light Housekeeping after the children

Ages of Children: 16 (girl) and boys who are 14, & 6

Hours: Typical schedule is every other week: M – 12:00 – 8:00, T – 12:00 – 8:00, W – 2:00 – 10:00, Th – 12:00 – 8:00, F – 12:00 – 8:00, S – 8:00 – 4:00, S – 9:00 – 5:00. Salary: Generous but depends on experience. This is a live-out position in Miami, so we prefer local applicants.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in private residences
• Outstanding references from both current and previous employers
• Professional, polished, and poised with the utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional organizational and time-management
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Must be a great swimmer
• Must have valid US work authorization
