Overview
Formal Meadow Lane, Southampton Residence seeks an experienced seasonal housekeeper to assist with the daily care of the home. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- All aspects of general housekeeping, deep cleaning and household organization
- Laundry and ironing clothing and linens; care for fine garments; travel packing / unpacking, etc.
- Maintaining overall appearance of home
- Grocery shopping and household inventory / supply procurement
- Preparing meals and light cooking for principals as needed
- Running additional errands and fulfilling additional requests as needed
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
This is a seasonal position that required 6 days a week May 20th – September 20th.
Requirements
- Excellent references required from current and previous employers
- Minimum 3-5 years related work experience in a private home or estate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Very strong fluency in/command of the English language
- Good cooking skills with ability to prepare and serve meals
- Must be hands on with good attitude, high energy, and strong work ethic
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Legally able to work in the United States
