Overview

A loving family seeks to hire a fun, bright, and active summer nanny to assist with the care of their 11 and 12 year olds. The chosen candidate should be great with tweens, have a loving personality, and a lot of energy to keep up with them. Someone with a strong college education and a background in child development would be ideal for the family. This job would be perfect for someone who has just graduated college and has 2 or 3 years of experience as a camp counselor or as a babysitter/mother helper for a family during their college years.

Responsibilities:

  • Always ensuring the safety of the children
  • Maintain a constant line of communication and report to the parents
  • Taking children to and from playdates and other activities
  • Packing and unpacking children’s belongings as needed when traveling
  • Assist with laundry and light housekeeping of children’s rooms and play areas
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the children
  • Assist with kitchen clean up after snacks
  • Help with swimming lessons
  • Running errands and procuring children’s supplies as needed

Schedule:  Thursday– Sunday, Live-in Starting ASAP – LDW. 

Requirements:

  • Excellent references are required from current and previous employers
  • Certification in CPR & First Aid
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent swimming abilities
  • Valid Driver’s License & clean record 
  • Must love dogs! ( family has one in the home).
