Overview

A private family of three seeks to hire an experienced weekend live-in weekend Nanny to assist with the care for their 4 month old baby girl. The right candidate should have great attention to detail and a loving personality to work with children.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Bathing and cleaning
  • Dressing & Changing diapers
  • assisting with the daily care, and supervision of the baby while creating a fun, safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks
  • Running errands and carrying out special requests
  • Must be travel-ready (family travels to the Hamptons in the summer, and occasionally travel domestically + internationally)
  • Someone that is comfortable driving (especially in the Hamptons)
  • Must be a strong swimmer, and comfortable monitoring kids in the swimming pool
  • Collaborating with the mother to organize and schedule educational classes and tutoring
Schedule: This position requires 3 days of live-in, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Flexibility is important. Arrival: Friday at 8am. Departure: Sunday at 8pm.
Schedule over summer would change to a ROTA (most likely 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) to reduce travel to Southampton, NY.
Benefits: including two weeks of paid vacation, sick days, etc.
Accommodations: While working, the chosen candidate will be able to have their own private bedroom + bathroom.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years related private home experience
  • A certificate in CPR and First Aid is a huge plus
  • Excellent references from both current and previous employers
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to travel to the Hamptons during summertime
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Flexibility with hours and scheduling
  • Strong swimming skills
  • Must have United States work authorization
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to follow all restrictions against Covid-19 per CDC guidelines
